Fumei Youth Yingge Team
Fumei is in Lihu Town. The team is dated to 2009, when the villager Li Junhao set it up — one government account gives 1998 instead (see §7): four practices a week, and both the men’s and the women’s teams go out.

On the Bund in Shanghai the team performs in the street; behind the barrier, spectators hold up their phonesFumei’s rules are made inside the team: every practice counts as a real performance, and places on outside trips are settled by in-team competitions rather than personal connections.
Coach Li Junhao puts ordinary fast-tempo yingge at 130 beats a minute and says his team reaches more than 140. He calls theirs the fast of the fast. The men’s team dances it; so does the women’s.
The rules, and the phrase “the fast of the fast”, come from the People’s Daily report of 24 September 2026; the 130 and 140 beats come from Li Junhao’s account in the Puning municipal government’s team profile.
Practise, compete, go

Team rule
Four practices a week
At the team’s founding the head coach, Li Junhao, laid it down: four practices a week, each treated as a real performance; places on trips are not settled by favour but by in-team bouts.

The women’s team
The fastest of the fast
Formed late in 2025 with 24 sign-ups; by the report of September 2026 it had more than 60. The lead dancer, Zhou Yating, is nineteen and came up through the men’s team.

All six come from the team’s own accounts, used under the team’s authorization. That authorization does not require credit on each image, so no account name appears here; the scope of each permission is kept on file.
Performances, Exchanges and Scheduled Events
The Macao trip is recorded in three stages. The women’s team was reported to have received an invitation in September 2026. The Macao Cultural Affairs Bureau’s programme for Community Traditional Song and Dance subsequently listed the Fumei Youth Yingge Team for three slots on 24–25 October 2026: Shibaiwan Lok Kuan Building at 14:30 on the 24th, Lok Yeung Garden at 14:30 on the 25th, and Nam Van Lake at 16:30 on the 25th. Which dancers appeared, and whether the performances went ahead, has not been independently confirmed. Visits and invitations are listed as reported; nothing is added that the reports do not state.

What remains undocumented
Size of the men’s team. The reports cover only the women’s team; how many men there are has not been published.
How the bouts work. How they compete, who judges, how often — the reports say only “in-team bouts”.
Roles in the women’s team. Beyond the lead stick there is no list of how the other parts are cast.
Founding year. A 2023 article on the Puning municipal government site gives 1998 and 80 members; another article from the same government, and a report of July 2026, give 2009, founded by Li Junhao with just over 30 members at the start. Both dates stand here; neither has been settled.
